We met in 2017 at Running of the Bull, a large Summer event at The Starboard, in Dewey Beach, Delaware. One of Casey’s friends thought that one of Eli’s friends was cute, so both of our friend groups approached each other. At that time, we were both seeing other people. We parted ways that day and didn’t see each other again for another two years! We reconnected in the Fall of 2019, and this time, the timing was right! We got our first drink together on our first date, on Halloween weekend of 2019 and we have been together since! We survived 2020 COVID quarantine together doing long distance weekend visits, Casey traveling from Wilmington, Delaware to Eli in Lewes, Delaware. We got engaged in St. Michael’s, Maryland on September 11, 2023 on a beautiful warm starry night at the harbor after a romantic dinner! We are so excited to get married & we are even more excited to celebrate with you! See you on October 12, 2024!
